HVAC Technician

Key Responsibilities:
Install, repair, and maintain HVAC equipment and systems, including but not limited to, air conditioning units, heat pumps, boilers, furnaces, and ductwork.
Conduct routine maintenance checks and inspections to ensure HVAC systems are operating correctly and efficiently.
Troubleshoot and diagnose HVAC system problems, and recommend repairs or replacements as needed.
Manage and prioritize multiple service requests, ensuring timely completion of all work orders.
Interpret and follow technical manuals and diagrams to effectively service HVAC equipment and systems.
Communicate effectively with customers to explain repairs and maintenance work performed, and provide recommendations for future services.
Train and mentor junior technicians as required.
Requirements:
Minimum of 5 years of experience in the HVAC industry, with a focus on commercial systems.
Strong knowledge of HVAC systems and equipment, including installation, maintenance, and repair.
Possess an HVAC certification, such as NATE or HVAC Excellence.
Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and diagrams.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team to complete projects in a timely manner.
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and diagnose HVAC system issues.
Must have a valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in confined spaces.
