HVAC Technician

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install, repair, and maintain HVAC equipment and systems, including but not limited to, air conditioning units, heat pumps, boilers, furnaces, and ductwork.

  • Conduct routine maintenance checks and inspections to ensure HVAC systems are operating correctly and efficiently.

  • Troubleshoot and diagnose HVAC system problems, and recommend repairs or replacements as needed.

  • Manage and prioritize multiple service requests, ensuring timely completion of all work orders.

  • Interpret and follow technical manuals and diagrams to effectively service HVAC equipment and systems.

  • Communicate effectively with customers to explain repairs and maintenance work performed, and provide recommendations for future services.

  • Train and mentor junior technicians as required.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in the HVAC industry, with a focus on commercial systems.

  • Strong knowledge of HVAC systems and equipment, including installation, maintenance, and repair.

  • Possess an HVAC certification, such as NATE or HVAC Excellence.

  • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and diagrams.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team to complete projects in a timely manner.

  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.

  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and diagnose HVAC system issues.

  • Must have a valid driver's license and a clean driving record.

  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in confined spaces.
